Documentation
This is the OsTech temperature coefficient correction program. It is used to correct errors in the temperature curve of OsTech devices by adjusting the coefficients used to model said curve. This documentation section provides some helpful pointers and lines out all the necessary steps to do such a coefficient recalibration.
Retrieving the coefficients
Use the following command to retrieve the current coefficient values from your OsTech device:
Here both [SensorNum] and [CoeffNum] have to be replaced with their respective values. To for example retrieve the coefficient C3 of the second sensor the command would be 2SSC3.
If no values are entered for a coefficient their standard values (visible as the gray placeholder) are assumed.
Temperature Values
To now determine the corrected new temperature coefficients, multiple temperature data points have to be entered. The first column should contain the temperature values the OsTech device detects, while the second column should contain the real values measured independently.
At least three data points have to be entered and more can be added with help of the +-button. Here it is preferable to evenly distribute those data points over the given temperature range. An example for the distribution of three data points would be -5°C, 35°C, 75°C.
